Totally over the moon to be announcing this record !

Debut Album ‘We Are A Unit’ released Monday 12th April 2010 UK & Monday 17th May (EU) Click to preorder.

We Are A Unit is Castrovalva’s eagerly awaited debut album released on Brew. This release sees the introduction of the new permanent member Leemun Smith on vocals who was responsible for the debut mini album artwork (see http://www.kraffhics.com for more of Leemun’s work) boosting the setup to a power trio.

Recorded and mastered by Ross Halden At Ghost Town Studios (¡Forward Russia!, Sky Larkin, Rolo Tomassi), We Are A Unit represents the first full length glimpse of Castrovalva as a collective three piece with Leemun Smith’s unique voice playing third instrument in the new setup, the band are now more equipped than ever to push their own boundaries of experimentation.

Castrovalva have been nurturing their Ghetto hard rock into something as unique, as it is powerful. To precede the release of their full length we have a brand new exclusive which doesn’t appear on the album.

After a brilliant 09 which saw the trio tackle support slots with Israeli noise merchants Monotonix, Health & An Albatross, the band have been locked in the studio perfecting their sound for their first full length LP We Are A Unit, set to drop on the 12th April this year along with a full UK & European tour. Stay tuned for 2010 for upcoming dates with Sheffields fearless Rolo Tomassi!
