Round Up – 17th March 2015

Bundo Award

Tuesday, March 17th, 2015

Last week we started off by celebrating the best food and drink Leeds has to offer at the Oliver AwardsWas great to see Bundobust pick up ‘Best/Café Bar’. It has been such a great first eight months for them and great to be apart of it.

Tuesday evening was another dining treat with Leeds Indie Food holding a #LIF15Backers meal at Northern Monk Refectory in collaboration with The Cross Keys, Grub and Grog Shop, Trestle Dining, Noisette Bakehouse and others providing a dining experience like no other. The new Leeds Indie Food website was also launched along with the first 80 or so events.  This will be a huge event.

We were treated to the final line-up announcement from Slam Dunk 2015, with the additions of Architects,  Finch, We are the Ocean and Set It Off, who already join headliners You Me At Six, Taking Back Saturday and Lower Than Atlantis. Tickets have really shifted for this and a suspected sell out is expected this year. Live at Leeds announced the Cribs, Rolo Tomassi and Palma Violets to an already bursting line-up. Best Kept Secret also launched new tickets packages including pre-pitched tents and hotel offers.

This week we welcomed Dialects to the ILP roster. They will release their debut EP LTKLTL on 11 May. Dødheimsgard released their new album and feature over on the guardian site and have a great interview and stream on Noisey. Gigwise also premiered the new …And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead video.

Phew.
