Last week saw the Launch of Leeds Indie Food Festival at Lambert’s Yard with Noisette’s Bakehouse, and now 13 days into the festival things are well under way and it’s been a great run so far! Last week saw Belgrave Feast Leeds Indie Special, Noonshine Café pop-up residency at Tall Boys Beer Market with Grub & Grog Shop start up. Down at Northern Monk Refectory we also saw the launch their 822 IPA. Bundobust joined in with their The History of The IPA along with various talks at Tall Boys’ throughout the week including Meet The Brewer with Cloudwater & Co. If tasting beer wasn’t enough for you Fu’Schnicken’s comes back to life with their pop-up House of Fu-shicken’s mid-week, whilst Patty Smith’s brought this weekend to a mouth-watering finish serving up food at Belgrave’s screening of the hit street food movie Chef.
Other highlights throughout the week so far have included LS6 Beer Fesitval, Five course wine and food pairing dinner at The Reliance, North Bar Co Launch and The Man Behind The Curtain X Laynes. In the music world, we have also had an exciting couple of weeks with the annoucement of Paradise Lost‘s UK Tour ‘The Plague Within’ over on Kerrang! Also coming up with have Slam Dunk Festival, which see’s the like of You Me At Six, Taking Back Sunday and Lower Than Atlantis. Slam Dunk kicks off at Millenieum Square this Saturday.
This week, we look forward to the final 5 days of Leeds Indie Food Festival and prepare our livers’ and stomach’s for the overwhelming intake at this weekend’s Leeds Feast, bringing the festival to a close.
