This May we have been lucky to have two great bank holiday weekends! First Live At Leeds, and last week we saw the final week out and said farewell to the first Leeds Indie Food Festival at The Tetley for Leeds Feast.

Not only did we have our belly’s stuffed throughout the week; we were then treated to the final feasting at The Tetley Musem with Belgrave’s climactic Leeds Feast. Bringing together some of the best Street food vendors from around the UK, we saw the familiar faces of Dough Boys, Fu-Schinkens and Patty Smith’s set up camp. However this time they were also joined by London’s Ritas Dining, Norse, Manijit’s Kitchen, The Pizza Guy plus many many more. If you would like to catch up on all the photos from the feast, you can do right here.

Meanwhile, over at Millenium Square we had the first day of Slam Dunk Festival kicking off. Taking over 02 Academy, Leeds Beckett Union and Millenium Square, the festival saw great sets from You Me At Six, Taking Back Sunday and Lower Than Atlantis. You can catch up with all the photo action over on Slam Dunk’s

This week we have also announced the line- up for The Garden Party, Leeds taking place over the  August bank holiday weekend over at The Tetley. The festival this year sees us team up with The Skinny and Crack Magazine. For The Garden Party’s 10th birthday, we also are getting treated to  more street food as Leeds Indie Food join forces and are curateting their very own specialised line-up. The two day festival is set to see the likes of Rosisin Murphy, Little Dragon, Mos Def and Todd Terje play.

In music news, Paradise Lost have announced their tour dates along with their 14th studio album ‘The Plague Within’. To catch up on popular opinion, head over to The Quietus for positive reaction to the bands recent release.
